Wringcliff Beach
π Lynton, Devon
About This Place
A secluded shingle cove, overlooked by high cliffs, on the South West Coast Path. --> Parking is in the Valley of the Rocks, which is signposted from Lynton. Access is via a steep path, although at the current time a rockfall has closed this off. This scenic beach all but disappears at high tide.
π‘ Our Take
Looking for a Devon beach where your dog can roam free year-round? Wringcliff Beach might be the rugged gem you're seeking! Though it's a sandy/rocky cove, pups love exploring the rock pools and enjoying off-lead freedom. Parking can be tricky with limited spaces nearby, so arrive early. Sadly, there aren't many facilities right by the beach, so bring your own water. Swim conditions can vary, so keep a close eye on your dog in the water. Wringcliff is fantastic for energetic dogs who love a good scramble. Owners should be aware of possible slipping risks for puppies on wet rocks.
