The Links golfing area runs right behind the beach, and the Edwardian Spanish City has recently been relaunched with various dining options including fish and chips. There is a lifeguard service at this beach, and while dogs are allowed on the beach to the north of Panama Gardens, there is a ban on dogs on the rest of the beach between 1 May to 30 September.
