White Nothe Beach
๐ Weymouth, Dorset
About This Place
White Nothe is an imposing 450 feet (160 m) tall white chalk headland on the edge of Ringstead Bay. At the foot of the western side of the headland is a small, rarely visited beach. --> Access to the beach is somewhat challenging. Apart from being a considerable walk along the coast path from anywhere there is the stepp โSmugglerโs Pathโ to negotiate as it zig-zags down the cliff. In addition, the last 30 feet or so involve a climb down a rickety ladder-like contraption.
๐ก Our Take
White Nothe Beach, nestled in Dorset, is a haven for dog owners seeking a serene escape. With its soft pebbly shore, it welcomes dogs year-round, offering a playful environment perfect for energetic pups or big breeds that thrive on exploration. While there, ensure to bring water and snacks, as facilities are a bit of a trek. Parking is available but limited, so arrive early to secure a spot. Caution is advised when swimming due to strong currents. It's the ideal location for adventurous and water-loving dogs to enjoy a day out with their human companions.
