About This Place

Leven is a resort town overlooking the Firth of Forth.  It has plenty of amenities, and there are two golf courses and some good walks to be enjoyed in the area. --> West Beach forms the townward part of a long stretch of sand north-east from the mouth of the River Leven to Lundin Links.  The beach is backed by a promenade, which is a good place to take a stroll along this section of the 150-mile long Fife Coast Path.There is a camping and caravan park behind the beach.

West Beach in Leven, Fife, is a fantastic year-round, dog-friendly beach! Your furry friends can roam free on the lovely sand. Parking is usually straightforward, and Leven's town center with handy shops and cafes is nearby. The sea's inviting, but always supervise your dog carefully, especially with strong currents. With no restrictions, it’s ideal for active dogs needing space to run. We think this is a great spot for confident swimmers, as smaller dogs should be watched near the open water. Pack some fresh water because even the best dogs get thirsty! We're sure you'll love a day here.
