Along with a number of rockpools to explore this makes for a family friendly beach. --> It is worth checking the tide times before visiting Walpole Bay as when the tide is in there is very little sand left. There are a range of activities on offer both in and out of the water. including crazy golf and a bowling green on the promenade.
