About This Place

Set in Cardigan Bay on a remote section of cast between Aberystwyth and Borth is the interesting little beach of Wallog. --> The beach appears to be divided by some kind pebble groyne, however this is entirely natural. The shingle spit is named Sarn Gynfelyn and was deposited here by glacial action. Just behind the beach is an area of grass with an old disused lime kiln. In years gone by lime was shipped here and baked before spreading over the fields of the Wallog estate.

πŸ’‘ Our Take

Nestled near Borth in Ceredigion, Wallog Beach is a hidden haven for dog lovers, where furry friends are welcomed throughout the year without restrictions. This expansive sandy beach ensures playful freedom, ideal for energetic big dogs to sprint and explore. Parking is a breeze, with ample space near the entrance. While facilities are a short drive away in Borth, the serene setting is idyllic for a peaceful day out. Caution: swimmings can be challenging, so keep an eye on your pup in the water. Wallog Beach is perfect for socializing puppies and comforting anxious dogs in a stress-free environment.
