About This Place

Long crescent of white sand lying in the lee of Lamb Hoga to the south. Access is easy and the beach slopes gently making swimming relatively safe. The beach backs onto a large area of flat grassland and a fresh-water loch, Papil Water. --> On a weekend close to the summer solstice in June, when the sun doesn’t set, the annual Feltar Foy festival is held here.

The beautiful sandy expanse welcomes dogs year-round, offering boundless space for zoomies and tail-wags. While facilities are limited, this is truly what makes it a hidden gem! Parking can be limited, so arrive early to secure a spot! Swim safety isn't known so keep a close eye to ensure they are safe! Tresta Beach is perfect for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Given limited facilities, bring your own water and clean bags. A wonderful blank canvas for all kinds of dogs!
