About This Place

This south east facing beach on the eastern coast of the Isle of Lewis is generally quite sheltered. Tolsta Beach is one of three beaches on this fairly remote section of the coast. There is the much larger Traigh Mhรฒr and Garry beach, both of which sit around the headland. --> Of the three, this beach, with its small stone pier, is probably the least visited.

๐Ÿ’ก Our Take

Tolsta Beach, nestled in the stunning Isle of Lewis, Scotland, is a hidden gem perfect for your furry companion. Dogs are welcome here year-round, making it an ideal getaway regardless of the season. The golden sand offers ample room for playful pups to roam, while the gentle waves provide safe swimming opportunities. Parking is conveniently close, although facilities are a short drive awayโ€”plan ahead especially for longer visits. This secluded spot is particularly suitable for energetic big dogs and those wanting to help anxious canines unwind. Remember to bring fresh water and snacks, as amenities are limited.
