Looking for a proper, dog-friendly pub in the local area? We at DogParkUK think The Star & Garter might be the spot. While reviews abound, we need more details, but its historic character and promise of a beer garden make it potentially perfect for relaxed pups. Assuming it's floor-friendly and welcomes dogs in at least part of the pub (ask ahead!), this could be a great shout after a countryside walk. If it offers good grub, it's a bonus! If it's busy, however, perhaps not the best for anxious dogs. Check their dog policy because a tasty treat might be on offer!
