We can't recommend a specific location till it's provided, but wherever it is, expect history, charm, and happy dogs! They're welcome throughout the pub – water bowls are readily available, turning this into a very social event for the dogs. It is best for social dogs, puppies may get over-excited. The beer garden is sublime. Expect delicious, high-quality food for you, even the dogs may get a sample if they are sitting pretty! Warning: weekend evenings get busy, so visit during off-peak times if your dog prefers peace.
