Looking for a dog-friendly pub with real character? We at DogParkUK recommend checking out The Ship & Royal! While we don't have full details, reviews suggest it's great. We hear tails wag about its warm atmosphere and quality food – perfect after a long walk! Pooches are welcome by your side presumably both inside (to admire some historic features!) and especially in the beer garden. Keep a watchful eye on your dog though, if it gets busy it may not be ideal for overly excitable dogs.
