Looking for a genuinely dog-friendly pub in beautiful Gloucestershire? DogParkUK recommends The Downend Tavern! Dogs are welcome throughout, even inside, so no one's left out in the cold. Plus, the proper pub grub is top-notch, perfect for a post-walk refuel. Their charming beer garden is a sun trap in summer. What we really loved, though, was the relaxed atmosphere and historic vibe; even nervous pups felt at ease. Note, the garden can get busy, so stick to quieter times if your dog is easily overwhelmed. It's ideal for calm, well-behaved dogs who love snoozing while you enjoy a pint.
