About This Place

Tucked away on the south coast, this pretty little cove has no direct car access and remains an unspoilt idyll. The cove is made up of a curving sandy beach backing onto an esplanade and collection of cottages.  --> The beach is served a handful of seasonal cafés and seafood shacks located along the beachfront. Crab sandwiches and locally caught lobster are a speciality here, often eaten with a sea view just metres from the boats that landed the catch. Steephill Cove is around about a twenty minute walk from the nearby resort of Ventor. Take the coastal path or the steep walk down from the Botanic Garden.
