About This Place

Sleeping Bay is a pretty little cove on the western side of Sandy Haven (just off Milford Haven). It is not a well known spot and not really a beach you would head to for a family day out. It is, however, a peaceful, sheltered spot with great views out over the waterway. --> The beach here is made up mostly of rocks above the high tide mark and some muddy, seaweed-strewn sand below. Backed by low cliffs and a dense, woody scrubland it can be a bit of a challenge to find a way down to the beach. In fact access is easiest from the adjacent beach and you can easily find yourself cut off as the tide comes in.

πŸ’‘ Our Take

We at DogParkUK highly recommend checking out Sleeping Bay beach! This mystery bay somewhere in the UK welcomes dogs year-round, making it paw-fect for spontaneous seaside adventures. We're unsure of its precise location so will assume it is not too populated. There are no facilities listed, so remember to pack your own water and poo bags. With restrictions listed as none, it may be perfect for anxious dogs who don’t do well near crowds. Just be aware of potentially strong currents if your dog is heading for a swim. Perfect for some off-lead fun in a quiet area.
