Seaford Head Beach
π Seaford, Sussex
About This Place
The little cove under Seaford Head is divided from the main beach by a large groyne and a jetty. Backed by the sheer chalk cliffs of Seaford Head Nature Reserve there is a small strip of shingle here. --> Care should be taken when sitting under the cliffs - they are white because they are constantly eroding, so falling rocks are not unknown. Like other beaches along this stretch of chalk cliffs Seaford is a good spot for fossil hunting. Access to the beach is via steep steps from the nature reserve above where free parking is available throughout the year.
π‘ Our Take
Looking for a dog-friendly beach in East Sussex? Seaford Head Beach could be it! We love that dogs are welcome all year round. While itβs more pebbles than sand, the wide-open space is fantastic for zoomies. Parking is available, though can get busy. Nearest facilities are a short walk away in Seaford town. Take care, swim safety can be a concern with strong tides. It's great for boisterous dogs that love to run and splash but may not be the best choice for puppies needing soft sand. Keep your dog in sight at all times, and have a fantastic, tail-wagging day!
