Seaford Bay
๐ Seaford, Sussex
About This Place
This wide stretch of shingle beach stretches nearly 4 miles between Newhaven harbour and Seaford Head. Seaford has a somewhat laid-back feel to it and is an ideal place to relax and avoid some of the summer crowds that flock to other south coast beaches. --> Letโs get one thing straight first of all; Seaford is a pebble beach - you wonโt find any sand here! Once you get your head around the fact you wonโt be making any sandcastles you can start to enjoy it for what it is, a great family beach. Volunteer lifeguards patrol the beach on summer weekends and there is plenty of parking along the seafront. Whilst Seaford certainly isnโt bucket and spade holiday territory it does still have a pleasant seafront with a few good cafes. Another popular feature is the cycle path which runs along the back of the beach. Being located just down from Newhaven means Seaford is a great spot to watch the big cross channel ferries sailing over to Dieppe.
๐ก Our Take
Located in East Sussex, Seaford Bay is a dog-friendly beach paradise. With sand perfect for paws, you can bring your furry friend year-round without a worry about restrictions. Ample parking makes visits stress-free, and the nearby facilities ensure convenience. The beach's gentle slope and usually calm waters are ideal for both novice swimmers and curious puppies. However, do keep an eye on tidal changes as conditions can shift quickly. Perfect for big dogs needing space to roam or anxious dogs preferring quieter spots, Seaford Bay offers a welcoming environment for all canine companions. Recommended by DogParkUK with wagging tails!
