A large and relatively wild beach with good views across the Bristol Channel to South Wales. Popular with dog walkers. --> Sparse amenities, apart from a few local food outlets and a car park. Between Weston Woods and the National Trust headland at Sand Point.

Head to Sand Bay in North Somerset for a fantastic, year-round dog-friendly beach! Your furry friends will adore the wide stretch of sand, perfect for zoomies, whatever the season. Parking is readily available (check local signage), but facilities are limited, so pack accordingly. While generally safe for swimming, always supervise your dog near the water, as currents can be unpredictable. This beach is brilliant for dogs of all sizes, especially those who love a good run! Keep an eye out for soft sand patches that can be challenging for older dogs. We think it's fab!
