Visitors can access the beach down a slipway and there is some roadside parking in the village. There are toilets located by the beach. The village of Crail is built around an old, picturesque harbour. πŸ’‘ Our Take

Roome Bay in Crail, Fife, is a hidden gem perfect for a doggy day out! This sandy beach welcomes dogs year-round, meaning endless off-lead fun. Parking is nearby but can get busy. Crail's charming village is just a short walk away for facilities. The shallow water is great for paddling pups, but always supervise swimming. Its calm atmosphere makes it ideal for puppies or anxious dogs needing gentle beach exposure. Big dogs will love the space to run! A practical tip: check tide times beforehand, as the beach shrinks considerably at high tide. Highly recommended!
