About This Place
Traeth Llydan (Broad Beach) is one of of Rhosneigrβs two main beaches and sits to the east of the village. Despite being somewhat smaller than neighbouring Treath Crigyll it is still over a mile long and an equally delightful stretch of golden sand. --> The sand here is slightly coarser than it is around the headland and there are a few rocky outcrops at either end. To the back of the beach there are low dunes and beyond these fields which gives the beach a distinctly rural feel. Traeth Llydan is popular for a range of water-based activities including surfing, swimming, boating, kayaking and snorkelling. The village of Rhosneigr is a few minutes walk away and his home to plenty of facilities such as cafes, shops and a pub.
π‘ Our Take
Rhosneigr (Traeth Llydan) Beach in Anglesey is a fantastic spot for dogs, providing year-round access with no restrictions. The expansive sandy shoreline is perfect for big dogs to stretch their legs and for anxious pups to enjoy a tranquil environment. There's ample parking nearby, making visits easy and convenient, though do bring water and snacks, as facilities are limited onsite. Be aware of occasional strong currents; ensuring safe playtime is key. This beach is ideal for puppies with boundless energy or older dogs who enjoy a gentle stroll. DogParkUK wholeheartedly recommends it for a delightful canine outing.
