About This Place

Just around the corner from the Isle of Wight’s most southerly point (St Catherine’s). The name is derived from Wraith Bay as the bodies from wrecks on the south-west coast were often washed up here. --> The beach here is a pretty little cove with a slipway, stretch of sand and rocky foreshore. It backs onto the small village of Castlehaven.
