About This Place

Pwllheli is the unofficial capital of the Lleyn Peninsula, with two beaches and an attractive seafront promenade. --> South Beach is a shingle beach that stretches from Gimblet Rock along the promenade and around towards Llanbedrog. Glan-y-Mor is located at the back of the marina, starting off a little muddy around the harbour, but soon becoming sandy and running for three miles all the way to the Penychain headland.

πŸ’‘ Our Take

Pwllheli Beach in beautiful North Wales is a fantastic choice for dog owners! Open year-round with no restrictions, your furry friend can enjoy the sandy shores anytime. This makes it ideal for dogs who love to run free. Parking is available nearby, though facilities are a short walk away. The relatively calm waters are generally safe for swimming but always keep a close eye on your pup. Perfect for confident swimmers and playful pups. Be mindful of the tides which can quickly change. We think Pwllheli Beach is brilliant for bigger breeds and dogs that love to chase a ball.
