π‘ Our Take
Looking for a dog-friendly beach in Wales? DogParkUK recommends Porthkerry Beach! This Vale of Glamorgan gem welcomes dogs all year round. While the sand is mixed with pebbles, there's plenty of space for zoomies. Parking is available, and Penarth offers nearby facilities. It's relatively sheltered, good for cautious swimmers, but always supervise your furry friend! Porthkerry is excellent for dogs who love exploring, especially bigger breeds who need space to run. Our tip? Check the tide times beforehand to maximize playtime and avoid disappointment. Overall, a perfect spot for a seaside adventure with your best pal!
