The beach is sometimes referred to as Porth Tyn Tywyn but actually consists of two smaller beaches; Porth y Tywod and Porth Sur.

πŸ’‘ Our Take

DogParkUK says: Looking for a dog-friendly beach in Anglesey, Wales? Porth y Tywod is a hidden gem! This sandy stretch welcomes wagging tails all year round, making it paw-fect for off-season adventures. With no restrictions, your furry friend can roam free. Parking is limited, so arrive early! The nearest facilities are in Llanfaelog village. Swim safety is down to you, so keep a close eye on adventurous water-loving pups.
