Porth y Nant Beach
π Holyhead, Gwynedd
About This Place
This small, rocky cove really is off the beaten track. Besides the coastpath, there is very little beyond the beach except for fields. --> The beach at Porth y Nant is mainly rocks and shingle, although there is a little sand above the shoreline. The cove is sheltered by steep cliffs from all but the most westerly of winds.
π‘ Our Take
Discover Porth y Nant Beach, an unspoiled gem in Gwynedd, perfect for dog-lovers. With golden sand and no seasonal restrictions, itβs a haven for dogs all year. Its secluded location ensures plenty of space for big dogs to romp freely without worry. Parking is available nearby, but note there's no immediate access to facilities, so pack accordingly and keep an eye on your pup near water due to strong tides. Ideal for adventurous pups, this tranquil setting offers a peaceful escape for anxious dogs too. DogParkUK wholeheartedly recommends this beach for a memorable day out with your four-legged friend.
