About This Place

With a name (Hell’s Mouth) somewhat more dramatic than the actual beach itself some visitors may be left a little disappointed. Sitting in the lee of Llanlleiana Point (the most northerly point in Wales) this little pebble and rock cove is generally fairly sheltered. --> However, one has to imagine the sea here is churned into a boiling froth when there is a big northerly storm.

πŸ’‘ Our Take

Porth Cynfor Beach in Gwynedd, North Wales, is a sandy haven perfect for year-round doggy delights! With no restrictions, your furry friend can run free off-leash any time. The soft sand is ideal for zoomies, and while there aren't immediate beach facilities, nearby Aberdaron village offers amenities. Swim safely – check tide times as currents can be strong. This beach is brilliant for energetic dogs needing space to stretch their legs. If your pooch is timid, the wide expanse and quieter atmosphere, especially outside peak season, could build their confidence! Remember poop bags and water for your best pal!
