About This Place
Port Eynon is one of the Gowerβs most popular beaches, well-served by caravan and camping sites. Other activities include surfing and windsurfing. Plenty of parking and a short walk across the beach to the village of Horton.
π‘ Our Take
Looking for a brilliant dog beach in Wales? DogParkUK recommends Port Eynon Beach! This Gower Peninsula gem allows dogs year-round, making it paw-fect for off-season adventures. Soft golden sands are ideal for zoomies and digging. Parking is available nearby, and the village offers cafes for post-walk treats. The relatively sheltered bay is good for paddling but always supervise your dog in the water! While usually calm, currents can occur. Its wide-open space and shallow waters make it ideal for puppies learning to swim and big dogs needing a good run. Remember poo bags and keep your dog in sight!
