About This Place

Polzeath is a small seaside resort on the north coast of Cornwall, with a sandy beach that’s mostly covered at high tide. Six miles north of Wadebridge, Polzeath beach is popular with both surfers and holidaymakers and can get crowded in summer. --> Plenty of pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants in the village.

πŸ’‘ Our Take

Polzeath Beach in Cornwall is a fantastic year-round option for dog owners! The golden sands are perfect for zoomies, and pups are welcome off-lead anytime. Parking is usually available nearby. While there aren't immediate facilities right on the beach, the village is a short walk away. We advise checking tide times, as the beach can disappear at high tide. Polzeath's usually calm waters make it great for dogs taking their first swim, but always supervise them. Best suited for water-loving dogs of all sizes thanks to the gentle waves and wide open space - even anxious dogs will enjoy a sniff around!
