About This Place

Pendower is a popular family beach on the Roseland peninsula. It joins up with neighbouring Carne at low tide to form a one and a half mile stretch of sand, with excellent views over Gerrans Bay. There is easy access from a car park where the two beaches join up. Pendower is rocky towards the western end. -->

πŸ’‘ Our Take

Pendower beach in Cornwall is a real gem for dog owners! This vast, sandy expanse welcomes dogs all year round, making it ideal for off-season adventures. The firm sand is perfect for running and playing fetch, and the gentle slope into the water makes it safer for swimming. Parking is generally available nearby. Remember although, there are limited facilitates here so pack refreshments. While the shallow waters are welcoming, always supervise your dog, particularly if they are new to swimming. Pendower is great for big dogs who need to stretch their legs, and even puppies building confidence in the sea!
