About This Place

Pendower Beach is situated within a bay on the Roseland Peninsula south of Truro. It is a fairly remote and rural spot but all the same quite popular due to the extensive sandy beach. --> Within the beach there are low soft cliffs and rock pools which have been designated Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI’s).

Pendower Beach in Cornwall is a fantastic year-round spot for your furry friends to run free! The expansive stretch of golden sand is perfect for zoomies and digging. Plus, dogs are welcome here all year, which is a huge bonus. Parking is conveniently located nearby. Since facilities at the beach itself are sparse, remember to pack your own water and poop bags. The calm waters are ideal for doggy paddles, but always supervise your pup near the sea. We think Pendower is best for active dogs who love to splash and explore.
