About This Place
Penbryn Beach is one of Ceredigionโs favourite beaches and is managed and largely owned by the National Trust. It is located between the scenic coves of Tresaith and Llangrannog which sit along the Wales Coast Path. Over the years it has won several awards for its cleanliness and natural beauty --> The beach itself is made up of soft, powdery sands that stretch for about a mile and it is generally sheltered from the wind here as the area is surrounded by sloping woodlands that protect it. As a result the beach is popular with families and you can make sandcastles or sunbathe here. The gentle slope of the beach also means that this is a good spot for swimming although there is no lifeguard service. If the beach seems familiar, that may be because it was used as a location for the James Bond film โDie Another Dayโ.There are several ways to get to the beach including a lane that leads to the central car park and Llanborth Farm, or you can walk along a scenic path that takes you through the flowery woodlands. This area of Wales also has an interesting history as it would have been a route for smugglers in the days of old. In more ancient times it was the home of the pre-Roman tribe known as the Corbalengus.

This spacious beach provides ample room for dogs to run freely or dig to their heart's content, perfect for energetic puppies or larger breeds.
