Orchard Bay
π Ventnor, Hampshire
About This Place
Set on the far-south coast of the Isle of Wight is the pretty little cove of Orchard Bay. Overlooked by the Ventnor Botanic Garden the beach is just along from the better known Steephill Cove. --> The beach is somewhat dominated by the seawall and 1820s Orchard House. This was originally built as three coastguard cottages, but ironically was the centre of a massive drug smuggling operation in the early 2000s.
π‘ Our Take
Okay, beach-loving doggos, listen up! While details are scarce, we're excited this beach allows pups year-round! Imagine boundless sandy zoomies. Parking info is unavailable, so be prepared to scout. Facilities and immediate amenities are unknown, either, so pack water and poo bags! Swim safety is unverified, always supervise dogs near water. With potentially few crowds, this could be ideal for anxious dogs needing space, or adventurous big dogs ready to run! Our tip: check local tide times before you go to maximize that sandy playtime! We'll update as we get more info.
