About This Place
The little west Cornwall fishing village is well known for its charms. In fact it was once described by the poet Dylan Thomas, as the loveliest village in England. The village’s name comes from the small entrance to the harbour and it is within the harbour that you will find the beach. --> Mousehole’s beach is surprisingly sandy although I have actually heard that the sand was shipped in from Padstow. Wherever the sand came from it makes for a pleasant little beach, or two. The beach has two sections which become separated towards high tide. The slightly larger stretch lies right in front of the village, and the other on the far side of the harbour. Both are equally nice, and safe too. Given how busy the village is in the summer the beach actually rarely gets crowded. This is in part due to the parking which tends to fill up fairly quickly.
💡 Our Take
Mousehole Beach, nestled in the charming region of Cornwall, is a delightful haven for dog lovers. This beach welcomes dogs year-round, making it a perfect spot for your furry friends. The beach's soft sand is ideal for long walks or a playful romp with your energetic pooches. There's ample parking nearby, ensuring hassle-free visits. Although the beach is perfect for big dogs and those eager to explore, a word of caution: the waters can be unpredictable, so always keep an eye on swimmers. Bring plenty of water for your pups, and enjoy the scenic views as recommended by DogParkUK!
