Three miles of sand backed by a high dune ridge. There is a short promenade with plenty of parking and the Seafront Splash children’s play area. Facilities include a family-run cafe, a shop and an amusement centre. Popular with surfers and golfers. -->

💡 Our Take

Montrose Beach, in Angus, Scotland, is a fantastic year-round haven for your canine companion! The expansive sandy beach provides ample space for zoomies, and dogs are welcome throughout the year with no seasonal restrictions. Parking is readily available nearby. While a perfect spot for a good swim, always be mindful of the tides and strong currents. Unfortunately, we don't have much to say about the beachside facilities, however the town of Montrose is close by. Ideal for energetic dogs who love to run, but perhaps a bit daunting for very nervous pups due to its size. So grab that frisbee, pack some water - and enjoy!
