Monkash, or Cwm Nash, is situated on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast about halfway between Swansea and Cardiff.  --> The beach is characterized by its dramatic limestone cliffs, a testament to millions of years of geological history. These sheer cliffs, speckled with patches of greenery, provide an impressive backdrop to the rock-paved shoreline that transforms into flat sands as the tide recedes. At low tide, visitors can explore the rock pools and even find fossilized remains embedded in the rocks. Access to Monknash Beach requires something of a scenic walk through the fields and woodland of a nature reserve. The secluded nature of the beach means there is nothing in the way of facilities here
