Milsey Bay is a sandy beach at the eastern end of North Berwick.  It has lovely views out over the Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock some 2 kilometres offshore. It is a perfect place for swimming, walking, exploring rock pools, sun bathing or for a family day out. At the western end of the beach a pool has been created in the rocks where children can paddle and sail boats. During the summer there are toilets on site. --> To the western end of the beach there are parking spaces along Melbourne Road, including disabled spaces with access to the beach. There is another car park to the eastern end of the beach along Tantallon Terrace. Picturesque North Berwick Harbour sits further to the west of the beach separating Milsey Bay from West Bay. The Scottish Seabird Centre, which provides information about the wildlife in the area, is located next to the harbour. It is possible to take boat trips out to the seabird sanctuary on Bass Rock which is visible from the beach. North Berwick town centre boasts plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs and places to stay. There are also golf courses along the coast, including Glen Golf Club at the end of Milsey Bay Beach. An hourly train to and from Edinburgh runs throughout the day from North Berwick Station, slightly less than a kilometre from the beach.
