About This Place

Located on the doorstep of the seaside village of Millisle is a small sandy beach. --> The beach forms a natural seawater lagoon which makes it ideal for swimming. There is also a large open air pool located next to the beach. Along with a jetty, slipways and rockpools there is plenty of exploring to be done at Millisle Lagoon. The beach backs onto a grassed area which has a few picnic tables. There is also a well equipped, modern, children’s play park in this area. Beyond here is the village which, along with the usual shops and cafes, is home to an amusement park.
