About This Place

Small patch of sand on the banks of the River Stour. Best at high tide, when it is quite a popular swimming spot. As the tide goes out it does reveal the mudflats of the estuary. --> Only a minute or two’s walk from Manningtree’s charming High Street where you’ll find plenty of places to eat and a few shops. There’s usually some free roadside parking on all but the busiest of summer days.
