About This Place

Located just to the north of Newbiggin, Lyne Sands is a decent sized stretch of sand. Lynemouth Power Station at the northern end of the beach does give the beach a somewhat industrial feel though. That said the view is pleasant enough in the other direction! --> Most visitors to the beach are either passing through or walking the dog. To the rear of the beach are low dunes beyond which is Newbiggin Golf Club
