About This Place

Longrock beach lies around half way between Penzance and Marazion. Despite being a long sandy beach with views over Mountโ€™s Bay and St Michaelโ€™s Mount, it is rarely ever busy. It does have a slightly scruffy feel in sections where it backs onto the railway lines but is generally clean and swimming is very safe. --> To the rear of the beach is a long flat section of the south west coast path which doubles as a cycle path. Dogs are allowed between the car park and Penzance making this one of the dog friendliest beaches around.

๐Ÿ’ก Our Take

Looking for a Cornish beach where your furry friend can roam free year-round? We at DogParkUK recommend Longrock Beach. This sandy stretch offers endless tail-wagging opportunities for dogs of all sizes in Cornwall. With unrestricted access, your pup can enjoy the sand and surf anytime. Parking is nearby, making it easy to unload your beach gear. While it lacks immediate facilities, Penzance is a short drive away. Be mindful of strong currents, especially further out. This beach is truly ideal for well-socialized dogs who adore playing in the waves! Remember your poo bags!
