Llansantffraid Beach
π Aberaeron, Glamorgan
About This Place
This predominantly shingle and pebble beach, backed by low mud and clay cliffs, lies on the Ceredigion coast, about 5 miles north east of Aberaeron. The fact that there is not much sand and the remote location ensure that the beach never gets particularly busy. --> There is a short-term car park in the village of Llanon, and from here there are a number of paths leading down to the beach.Β The village has a pub, a chip shop and a shop.
π‘ Our Take
Looking for a relaxed beach day in Wales with your canine companion? DogParkUK recommends Llansantffraid Beach! Your furry friend is welcome year-round on this sandy stretch. While parking might be limited, the village nearby offers basic amenities. The calm waters make it ideal for dogs who enjoy a paddle, although swim safety is always paramount. Be sure to keep a close eye on changing tides. Llansantffraid is perfect for dogs of all sizes but especially good for puppies as the shallow water allows them to learn to swim! Do remember to bring your own dog waste bags!
