About This Place
Llanbedrog lies on the south side of North Walesβs Lleyn Peninsula, just under 3 miles south-west of Pwllheli.Β There is a popular, mile-long, sandy beach here, stretching all the way around the bay to Pwllheli to the east.Β At the south-western end of the bay, the Mynydd Tir-y-Cwmwd Headland offers a wide expanse of heather heath and woodland, which has a network of paths to explore, some offering stunning coastal views. --> The beach is backed by fields, and the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park provide a beautiful backdrop. There are brightly coloured beach huts along the beach, which can be rented from the National Trust.Β The relatively warm, shallow waters of the bay make this beach popular with families, as well as watersport enthusiasts.
π‘ Our Take
Nestled in the picturesque heart of Gwynedd, Llanbedrog Beach North is a year-round paradise for dog lovers. This lovely sandy stretch is perfect for four-legged friends, offering playful pups ample space to explore without restrictions. With no seasonal bans, joyous romps are guaranteed any time of year. Parking is conveniently close by, though it's advisable to arrive early during warmer days. It's ideal for puppies and anxious dogs due to its calm waters, though big dogs will love it too! Always keep fresh water handy, as facilities are minimal. At DogParkUK, we heartily recommend this hidden gem for pawsome adventures!
