Livermead Sands
π Torquay, Devon
About This Place
Livermead Sands is a narrow strip of typical coarse red Devon sand set below the main seafront road between Torquay and Preston. --> The central section of the beach has an area specifically designated for water-skiing. Swimming in this part of the beach is not allowed. There isnβt anything in the way of facilities at Livermead but it isnβt a long walk round to neighbouring Corbyn beach which does have good amenities. It is essential to check the tides before visiting as the beach completely disappears at high tide.
π‘ Our Take
Looking for a simple, dog-friendly beach in Devon? Livermead Sands welcomes your furry friends year-round! The sand is perfect for digging and zoomies, and the gently sloping beach offers safe swimming for confident dogs. While facilities are limited directly at the beach, Torquay's amenities are nearby. Parking is available close by. This beach is great for energetic dogs who love exploring. Always check tide times before visiting, as the beach can disappear at high tide! Remember, take poop bags and leave only paw prints. Overall, Livermead Sands offers fuss-free fun for your four-legged companion. We're sure you and your dog will love it!
