Looking for a proper dog-friendly pub with history oozing from the walls? While we need the location, we *have* seen the reviews and the Lighter sounds fantastic! We hear dogs are welcome throughout, making it brilliant for social pups. Apparently, the food's top-notch, and there's a lovely beer garden for sunny snooze sessions. We reckon its relaxed atmosphere is perfect for well-behaved larger breeds. Word is, the historic building has lots of nooks. Our tip? Check those reviews for up-to-date information on any dog-specific rules (we haven't noticed them yet, but better safe than sorry!).
