About This Place

Whilst Dovercourt Bay in Harwich is a popular spot with its own caravan park, Irlam’s beach just along the coast is virtually unknown. Backed by dunes and marshes this is a quiet spot to relax and take in the views across the sea towards the docks up the coast. --> Whilst this isn’t a spot you’d want to swim off it is good for fishing and spotting wildlife in the marshland and dunes behind.

Irlam's Beach’s lack of readily available information doesn't deter us! While we need to gather specifics, a beach allowing dogs year-round is ALWAYS a win for us at DogParkUK. Imagine: sandy paws and happy barks whatever the season! Just keep an eye on your furry friends near the water, always be aware of tide times, and ensure you bring plenty of fresh water for them. Without confirmed features it's hard to be 100% certain, but a large open beach like this is often fantastic for big dogs and energetic pups to run freely! A visit requires extra research but could be very rewarding!
