Ingoldmells Beach
π Skegness, Lincolnshire
About This Place
Ingoldmells South is a sandy beach on the Lincolnshire coastline located near the resort town of the same name. The town boasts a number of caravan parks as well as the Fantasy Island theme park. --> The beach is popular for swimming and for walking. It is unusual along the Lincolnshire coast, in that dogs are allowed on part of the beach all year round. However, whether this is still the case since the beach has received a Blue Flag award is unclear. It is part of a long stretch of beaches that make up this part of the Lincolnshire coastline. This particular part is quite built-up, with Skegness a few miles to the south and the town of Chapel St Leonards to the north. There is a large multi-story car park located along Sea Lane, about 50 meters from the main entrance to the beach. There are also plenty of other facilities such as shops, pubs and places to eat as well as a bowling alley along this street. There are public toilets located next to the beach entrance. Behind the beach there is a promenade.
π‘ Our Take
Looking for a dog-friendly beach in Lincolnshire? Then look no further! Ingoldmells Beach is a tail-wagging winner because dogs are welcome all year round! Your furry friend will love the soft, sandy expanse perfect for running. Parking is usually close by, but facilities are a little further away; plan accordingly! Pay attention to swim safety as currents can be strong. This beach is great for dogs that love to run and play. Big dogs especially will love the open space! *Tip: Be mindful of the tide times to maximise fun and minimize any risk!*
