About This Place

A mile-long sandy beach six miles west of Newquay, yet retaining an unspoilt rural backdrop. Whilst never as busy as the main Newquay beaches Holywell Bay gets pretty busy in summer. Plenty of parking and amenities in the village. -->

πŸ’‘ Our Take

Holywell Bay in Cornwall is a fantastic spot for dogs, with its expansive golden sands welcoming pups year-round. This vast beach offers plenty of space for playful romps or peaceful strolls, making it ideal for both energetic puppies and older, more anxious dogs. With ample parking nearby, it's easily accessible for a day out. Note that there are limited facilities on the beach itself, so plan accordingly. The gentle waves and shallow waters are usually safe for canine paddles. If your dog loves freedom and open spaces, Holywell Bay is a must-visit treasure on the Cornish coast.
