About This Place

Godrevy is an exposed, sandy beach at the very northern end of Hayleโ€™s โ€œThree miles of golden sandโ€. It is not clear where Godrevy beach starts and Gwithian ends but I have been reliably informed it is at Gillick Rock. Other people say it is to the north of where the Red River runs into the sea. --> Where ever the beach starts and finishes it is wonderful stretch of flat sand. As you head further north there are a couple of more secluded coves separated by rocks at high tide. These are always quieter than the main area of sand.Wild, windy and immensely popular with surfers, there is ample parking in a National Trust car park behind the beach.

๐Ÿ’ก Our Take

Godrevy Beach is a Cornish gem where dogs are welcome all year round! The expansive sands are perfect for zoomies and fetch, making it ideal for energetic pups. Parking can get busy, so arrive early, especially during peak season. While there are no immediate facilities on the beach, nearby towns offer plenty. Swim safety is crucial - be aware of currents and tides, especially with strong swimmers. A fantastic choice for well-socialized dogs who enjoy running free. If you have a puppy, ensure it's confident off-lead before letting it explore fully.
