About This Place
The little shingle beach at Fishcombe Cove sits just outside Brixham. With the hillside and cliffs behind being covered in woodland this really is a pretty spot. --> Access to the beach is both picturesque and a little challenging. It involves a shortish, but very steep walk from the car park or via the steps from Battery Gardens. Alternatively you can travel here by boat - this sheltered part of the bay is a popular spot for mooring various watercraft.
π‘ Our Take
Looking for a dog-friendly beach in Devon? We at DogParkUK think Fishcombe Cove is ace! It's truly fab because pooches are welcome year-round to enjoy the sandy shores. Parking is nearby. However, nearest facilities are a little walk away, so pack accordingly! The cove itself is relatively sheltered, offering calmer waters, but always be mindful of swim safety. Itβs ideal for dogs who enjoy a good paddle or fetching a ball. We reckon this cove is especially great for puppies and slightly anxious dogs due to it being quieter than some other beaches. Have fun exploring!
