About This Place

Tucked away, just behind Paignton harbour wall is the little red sand beach of Fairy Cove.  --> This pretty little spot is a world away from the main beach, just the other side of the harbour. Backed by sandstone cliffs and the memorial garden beyond Fairy Cove can seem like an oasis of calm in the summer.The beach is fairly sheltered from the wind and waves, particularly at low tide when the beach is separated from the sea by flat rocks. As such, this is a great time to go exploring the rockpools for sea life.Fairy Cove is a good family beach, and although there isn’t much on the beach itself there are plenty of facilities around the harbour - toilets, cafe etc.

Though details are limited, we hear it's sandy under paw, ideal for zoomies. Parking info is fuzzy so scope it out before you go! Nearby facilities are currently unknown, so pack water. Be aware that swim safety is unknown, so exercise caution! If your dog likes wide open spaces, this might be a great place for adventurous pups to go and explore!
