About This Place

Situated towards the northern tip of the Isle of Lewis and facing north-west Eoropie Beach takes the full force of the Atlantic. There is rarely a calm day here making it popular with surfers. --> The beach itself is a large expanse of golden sand punctuated by rocky outcrops at either end of the beach. Behind the beach is a large area of windswept dunes beyond which is the Eoropie Dunes Playpark, a 4 acre site with zip line, rope swings and climbing frames a plenty. Unfortunately there are no further facilities.

πŸ’‘ Our Take

Looking for a wild beach escape in Scotland with your canine pal? We at DogParkUK recommend Eoropie Beach! We don't have much specific details, but it allows dogs year-round. Think soft, golden sands perfect for zoomies and playful digs. Remember, it's important to be confident with water as reports on swim safety are unavailable. Parking is likely limited, so arrive early! Check local resources for the nearest nearby facilities before you go. Eoropie Beach is an awesome choice for confident, well-behaved dogs who thrive on open space, but due to the potential for strong currents, best to keep swimming distance in mind and stick to the shallows for puppies.
